Edward Everett Hale wrote these words:
I am only one - I cannot do everything
But still I can do something
And because I cannot do everything
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."

You might say, “What difference can I possibly make? I am only one.”

One was chosen by God to confront Pharaoh and lead the exodus of the children of Israel. One was called to deliver the Israelites from the Midianites. One was called to save the entire Jewish race. Only One took a stand against the mocking Goliath. How many did it take to feed the hungry crowd? How many did it take to change a whole town? Only ONE

Oh what ONE can do!!!

The encouraging thing is that none of these people that made a HUGE difference in their world possessed any great or notable abilities.

Moses couldn’t even speak clearly. Gideon argued with God and asked, "How can I save Israel? I am the least in my family." Queen Esther was an orphan. David was a lowly shepherd. ONE was just a little boy willing to give up his lunch so the others could be fed and the Samaritan woman was immoral – yet she made a difference in her city when she told them about Jesus.

But each of these had a desire to make a difference in their world and that was all God needed!

I invite you to become a part of the harvest of souls through worldwide missions. The Bible says to “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance and the ends of the earth for your possession.”

What can you do? Why not ask for a nation?
